Lagtime: Live at Velma’s SF Album Is Just Around the Corner!

 We’re so excited to announce to you all that the Lagtime: Live at Velma’s SF double CD (the full Velma’s show) is about to come blazing out of the gates and into your world.
It was truly a wonderous night of music. The band had a stellar performance, the sound was completely pro, the guest performers were on fire, the crowd was alive, the venue was rockin’, the food was delicious and the drinks were flowin’. |

The CD will be almost the entirety of the show which was a mix of tunes performed by the core Lagtime group and a bunch of tunes that included our good friends Willie Adams a.k.a. DJ Tequila Willie (vocals and records – Beat Down Sound), Erik Kneer (Keys – Herd A’Cats) and Clyde “The Slyde” Sutliff a.k.a “Chicken Bone” (trumpet – cvDub). There was a healthy mix of Lagtime originals and jazz/r&b/funk covers. You don’t wanna miss it! |
| Our good friend Jason Haxton, hard-working, well-known, nicest-guy-on-the-planet, sound engineering jedi—with the help of Harry, Jason’s hand-picked paduan—recorded the music beautifully and has gone above and beyond to mix and master these shows to our pickiest of satisfaction.
So we’d like to extend a HUGE THANKS to this enormously impressive and supportive band of musicians and engineers who all gave of their busy lives to bring this show to fruition. |
